Muddy Shews
Steve "Muddy" Shews has been playing bass guitar for the past 40+ years. After teaching himself to play starting at the age of 13, he landed his first club gig at 16 and has been busy ever since. He was the bassist for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes from 2000-2008, which included recording two albums. Muddy has also performed live on stage with Dramarama, Gary US Bonds, Billy J Kramer (The Dakotas), Bruce Springsteen, Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett), Eumir Deodato, Rick Derringer, Buddy Miles, Joey Molland (Badfinger), Steve Van Zandt, just to name a few. Currently, you can also catch Muddy performing with Anthony Krizan (Spin Doctors), Billy J Kramer, Gary US Bonds, Clean Getaway Allstars, plus many local bands. Muddy has also studied classical piano for over 20 years.
